An MRI confirmed Monday that Connecticut Sun guard Renee Montgomery has suffered a high left ankle sprain and is expected to be out three to four weeks.

Montgomery suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of last Friday's loss at the Chicago Sky. She also missed Saturday's game at the Minnesota Lynx. She has played a total of 26 minutes in two games this season, collecting eight points and three assists.

Connecticut hosts the Washington Mystics Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena (7 p.m.)
