Poet Kathleen McClung at the Hygienic

Writer Kathleen McClung headlines tonight in New London at the Hygienic Art Galleries' First Thursday Poetry Series.

McClung's poetry, fiction and works of memoir have been widely published, and her most recent poetry collection is "Almost the Rowboat." McClung was also awarded the 2012 Rita Dove Poetry Award, and she has won prizes from the Chicagoland Poetry Contes, the Portland Pen Poetry Contest and the Robert Frost Foundation.
