The Mashantucket Pequot Museum will be featured during a broadcast of a Connecticut's Cultural Treasures episode on Connecticut Public Television at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The show will be rebroadcast at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, on CPTV.
The world's largest Native American museum, Mashantucket Pequot Museum, has been tribally owned and operated since its opening in August 1998. Nestled into the woodsy Mashantucket landscape, the museum provides visitors with an interactive, realistic experience of the Pequot lifestyle.
The museum includes life-size exhibits, classrooms, a 320-seat auditorium, a library, a gift shop and a restaurant serving a variety of Native American cuisines.
