Shoreline Gymnastics of Old Saybrook competed at the Judge’s Cup in Madison on May 4th and 5th.

The Prep Opt novice and intermediate teams were represented. The novice team included Emma Anderson (Pawcatuck), Cate Coppes (Old Saybrook), Tyra Finkeldey (Old Saybrook), Chole Folts (Essex), Dana Katz (Groton), Chloe Moulin (Madison), Riley Nelson (Old Lyme), Ella Page (East Lyme), Rachel Reed (Old Saybrook), Catherine Saucier (Waterford), Chloe Scott (Madison), and Abigail Walton (Madison). Strong individual performances on vault included Tyra Finkeldey (first), Chloe Moulin (first) and Catherine Saucier (third); bars Tyra Finkeldey (second), Dana Katz (third), and Riley Nelson (tied for third); beam Ella Page (first), Riley Nelson (second), Rachel Reed (second), and Chloe Moulin (third); floor Ella Page (third) and Rachel Reed (tied for third); and all around Tyra Finkeldey (second).

The intermediate team included Sarah Cartelli (Ivoryton), Grace McLaughlin (Old Saybrook), Isabella Donohue (Old Saybrook), Saige Deveau (East Lyme), Cassi Morrison (East Lyme), Grace DeVries (East Haddam) and Tammi Welge (Old Saybrook). Strong individual performances on vault included Grace McLaughlin (first) and Isabella Donohue (second); bars Grace McLaughlin (first); beam Grace DeVries (first); Sarah Cartelli (first) and Grace McLaughlin (third); and all around Sarah Cartelli (first); and Grace DeVries (second).

Levels 4, 5 and 6 were also represented. The Level 4 team included Ella Ferrucci (Essex), Madeline Fraser (East Lyme), Helena Gernhardt (Old Saybrook), Abigail Maynard (Waterford) and Emily Smith (Clinton). Strong individual performances for Level 4 on vault included Helena Gernhardt (first) and Abigail Maynard (first); bars Helena Gernhardt (second); and beam Emily Smith (second) and Madeline Fraser (tied for third).

The Level 5 team included Megan Cravinho (Old Lyme), Megan Kapij (Old Saybrook), Madeline SanMarco (Madison), Katie Shaughnessy (Mystic), and Amanda Rowe (Waterford). Strong individual performances for Level 5 on vault included Amanda Rowe (first); bars Madeline SanMarco (third); and floor Madeline SanMarco (tied for second) and Amanda Rowe (third).

The Level 6 team included Addison Marchese (Essex), Elizabeth Cravinho (Old Lyme), Alexandra Bishop (Old Saybrook), Haley Smith (Clinton) and Makenzie Mahar (Pawcatuck). Strong individual performances for Level 6 on vault included Addison Marchese (third); bars Elizabeth Cravinho (second); beam Alexandra Bishop (third); floor Alexandra Bishop (second); and all around Alexandra Bishop (third).
