Dave Mustaine means many things to many people - if only because his decades in the Metal Biz have supplied him with all sorts of temptations, experiences and lessons-learned.

Sober, spiritually reborn and definitely energized, Mustaine continues to lead his longtime band, Megadeth, as they thrash into the future. Their latest album, "Super Collider," came out last month, and they're headlining Gigantour 2013 - the fifth edition of a traveling metal festival that comes Friday to the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Also on the bill: Zach Wilde's Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted (with ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted) and Death Division.

By their thrash shall ye know them!

Gigantour 2013, 4:30 p.m. Friday, Mohegan Sun Arena; with Megadeth, Black Label Society, Hellyeah, Device, Newsted and Death Division; $35; 1-888-664-3426, mohegansun.com.
