Aerosmith: Back in the saddle at MGM Grand at Foxwoods

    Steve Tyler of Aerosmith

Nine lives: After all the break-ups and battles and "American Idol" judging episodes, the members of Aerosmith always manage to find their way back together. They're on tour now, with a concert Wednesday at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Together ... The Toxic Twins - Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry -were just inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame. And, last week, they were inducted into The Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.

... and apart: Tyler told Rolling Stone that he's gearing up to work on a solo album in 2014. He said his "heart is in stuff like that weirder, off-the-cuff stuff that I'm not sure Aerosmith would like. I'm into electronica - I was when I used to listen to Stockhausen in '65. So there's just a lot of stuff - good, weird ------- music that I want to get off my chest."

Full of beans: You know your rock stars are getting older when they aren't creating their own line of booze - they're doing their own line of coffee. Aerosmith's drummer, Joey Kramer, has his Rockin' & Roastin' coffee brand.

    - Kristina Dorsey

Aerosmith, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, MGM Grand at Foxwoods; $175-$300; 1-800-200-2882.
