Early morning sunflower harvest in Griswold

Daisy Jackman, 14, of Voluntown and other volunteers arrived before sunrise Wednesday at Buttonwood Farm on Route 165 in Griswold to harvest sunflowers for the Sunflowers for Wishes fundraiser. The event, which also features hay rides through the fields and ice cream, benefits the Connecticut chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and continues through Sunday.
