The Friends of the Mystic & Noank Library will present a local author expo at the Mystic & Noank Library on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. The library has space for 12 author booths; authors may sell their books directly to readers and donate 10 percent of their sales to the Friends. Entry forms will be available at the front desk of the library and on the library website. Entries must be returned at the front desk by Friday, Aug. 23, before 5 p.m., accompanied by a copy (to be returned) of one of the author's works. Authors selected for the expo will be notified by Sept. 4.
