85 graduate from Basic Enlisted Sub School

Groton — Eighty-five sailors of “Class 13340,” USS Tullibee (SSN-597), graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School on Friday, July 26.

Seaman Christopher Marriott was the class honorman. Seaman Apprentice Quentin Mattson was meritoriously advanced. Seaman Recruit Joshua Denney received the Submarine Heritage Award and Fireman Recruit Brian Causey received the Navy Core Values Award.

Seaman Joey Tucker, Seaman Nathan Keen, Seaman Benjamin Green, Seaman Recruit Ryan Redmond, Fireman Recruit Rogelio Roque, Fireman Apprentice Donta Hixon, Fireman Apprentice Alex Koubek, Fireman Joshua Cowles, Seaman Ian Nelson, Seaman Recruit Patrick Jackson, Electrician’s Mate Third Class Jordan Burr, Seaman Apprentice Morgan Hill, Seaman Cole Mars, Seaman Apprentice Derek Haws, Electronics Technician Second Class David Honeycutt, Seaman Atreya Rajagopalan and Fireman Wesley Busch graduated with distinction.
