PHOTO: Police seek public help identifying larceny suspect

Preston — State Police are asking the public to help identify the suspect in a larceny case.

Connecticut State Police responded to the Citgo Best Way Gas Station on Route 2 on May 21. According to police, the investigation found that a man entered the store alone and took merchandise worth $1,500 before fleeing on foot. Troopers searched the area and notified other police agencies in the area but could not find him.

A photo of the suspect was obtained from the video surveillance system in the store. Police are asking anyone who may recognize or know the suspect to contact Troop E, Trooper A. Bettini, at (860) 848-6500 ext. 5052. All calls will be kept strictly confidential.
