Ledyard — Police on Wednesday arrested a Groton woman who police say stole "several thousands of dollars" from her former place of employment at the Mobil gas station on Route 117.

Naomi Thibault, 26, 62 Branford Ave., was charged with third-degree larceny.

Police said the thefts occurred between November 2012 and September 2013. Police did not say how much was stolen, but someone is charged with third-degree larceny when the amount stolen ranges from $1,001 to $5,000.

Thibault was expected to be arraigned Wednesday in New London Superior Court, police said.
