    Renaissance Faire joust in Norwich

Becca Cooper, left, as Dame Fiona of Orkney, shatters her lance on the shield of Scott Rodlin, as Sir Devon Farrel of York, during a ''Joust of Peace'' on Monday at the 15th annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire in Norwich. The faire, which opened weekends starting Sept. 21, will conclude next weekend. It was open an extra day on Monday for the Columbus Day holiday weekend. The faire moved to the overflow lot at Dodd Stadium in Norwich this year after a long run at the Hebron Lions Fairgrounds in Hebron. The faire featured a new layout and a new theme centered around the early reign of King Henry VIII.
