East Lyme police looking for restaurant burglar

Police say this man is responsible for numerous burglaries of restaurants and bars in town.

East Lyme — Police are looking for man who they say is responsible for numerous burglaries of restaurants and bars in town.

Police said the latest burglary happened at about 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Lyme Tavern in the Niantic section of town. The burglar's image was captured on surveillance camera.

Anyone with information is asked to call the East Lyme Resident Trooper's Office at (860) 739-5900 or Troop E in Montville at (860) 848-6500. The case is being investigated by East Lyme Police Detective Donald Marr.
