It's been a while since Paul Reiser did stand-up - 20 years, in fact.

He's been busy doing other things. He co-created and starred in the career-defining "Mad About You," of course. More recently, he had a role in the Liberace film "Behind the Candelabra," playing the lawyer for Liberace's former boyfriend. He released his latest book, "Familyhood." Speaking of familyhood, he and his wife have been busy raising their two children.

But stand-up drew him in again, after he did a gig at a comedy club. Now, he's doing a full-fledged tour, with a show Saturday at Foxwoods' Fox Theater.

An interesting side note: Not only did Reiser co-write the theme song for "Mad About You," but he has done more music, too. He and singer Julia Fordham collaborated on the 2010 album "Unusual Suspects" - and they did a concert tour.
