Mystic Ballet dances "Snow White"
An Enchanted Mirror comes alive. A cauldron sends smoke - and a mysterious apple - into the air. A villainous queen morphs into a hag.
Yes, lots of effects will impress when Mystic Ballet presents "Snow White," but the most enchanting element is bound to be the dancing itself.
The production features original choreography by Vladimir Putenko, restaged by Eve Chan and Goran Subotic, to the music of Pavlowsky.
Dancing the title role is Ting-Yu Tsai, who just played Clara in Mystic Ballet's "Nutcracker Spectacular" at Foxwoods.
"Snow White" - which takes place this Saturday and next at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum Auditorium - is part of Mystic Ballet's popular "Dance Me A Story - Family Series," and it is a really wonderful family event.
