East Hartford — The 10th Heroes 4 Hire Veterans Career Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 at the Rentschler Field Ballroom.

Two people with local ties graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

They are: Air National Guard Airman Rigoberto M. Fareaux Jr. and Air National Guard Airman First Class Kyle C. Williams. Fareaux, the son of Sandra and Rigoberto Fareaux Sr. of New London, is a 2005 graduate of New London High School. Williams, who earned distinction as an honor graduate, is the son of Herb Williams of Uncasville and a 2013 graduate of Montville High School.
