Calling all bridesmaids

Renaissance City Theatre Inc., the producing entity at the Granite Theatre of Westerly, will hold open auditions for the Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten comedy "Always A Bridesmaid." Auditions will run Monday, April 14, and Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at the theatre, 1 Granite St., Westerly. The show runs for 17 performances scheduled between June 20 and July 20.This is an open audition - no appointments are necessary. Those new to the theatre should bring a head shot and resume.

"Always A Bridesmaid" requires a cast of one young woman in her mid- to late 20s and five women in their 40s through 60s.
