75 USS Batfish Sailors graduate Basic Enlisted Sub School

Groton — Seventy-five sailors of “Class 14160,” USS Batfish (SSN-681), graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School on Friday, March 21.

Seaman Apprentice Matthew Comini, the class honorman, was meritoriously advanced. Seaman Kyle Steven received the Submarine Heritage Award and Seaman Recruit James Banner received the Navy Core Values Award.

Seaman Recruit Lee Van Landghen, Seaman Jonathan Cordani, Cryptologic Technician Technical Second Class Petty Officer Ian White and Seaman Apprentice Tyler Roybal were graduates with distinction.
