Windsor 63, Career 59: Tyler Rowe had 25 points and six steals as fourth-seeded Windsor beat No. 2 Career at Mohegan Sun Arena to win its fourth state championship.

The game culminated a weekend in which a record-setting 20,456 watched eight games over three sessions. The previous record was set during last year's finals (18,483).

Tyniqu Woods Culver scored 10 for the Warriors (22-5). Jordan Lomax had 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Panthers (22-5). Amos Ford scored 15 and Tyreek Perkins 10.

Windsor closed the third quarter with a 13-4 run to take the lead. Rowe concluded it with a layup with a second left to give the Warriors a 43-41 edge.

A Ford 3-pointer gave Career a 53-51 lead with three minutes, 58 seconds left in the game.

Rowe answered seconds later with a three-point play to put Windsor back ahead, 54-53. It never trailed again.

Cody Quinn came off the bench for the first time to shoot free throws for Aaron McHenry after the latter was hurt going to the basket. Quinn made both free throws to push Windsor ahead, 61-57. Career's Justin Campbell made a layup at the other end to pull his team within two points with 16 seconds left. Quinn made two more free throws on the other end for the game's final points.

Class S

Sacred Heart 65, Valley Regional 56: Malik Petteway had 17 points, 17 rebounds and three steals to pace third-seeded Sacred Heart to its sixth state championship.

Mustapha Heron had 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Hearts (24-3). Isaiah Rascoe added 15 points and six rebounds. Christopher Jean-Pierre scored a game-high 20 with nine rebounds for the Warriors (20-7), who were vying for their third state title in four seasons. David Bradbury Jr. also made four 3-pointers and scored 14.

Petteway turned a steal into a thunderous dunk to put his team ahead, 57-56, with 2:30 remaining in the game.
