Norwich – City police on Wednesday arrested a 20-year-old on charges he was illegally carrying and trying to sell a handgun with an illegal 12-round magazine on Franklin Street.

Edgar Rosado-Martinez, 20, of 135 Cliff Street, Apt. 2, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and possession of a high capacity magazine.

Police said they were tipped off about the incident at about 10:20 a.m. and located Rosado-Martinez a short time later in possession of a 9 mm handgun. He does not have a permit to carry a handgun, police said, and magazines with the capacity to hold 1o or more rounds became illegal last April.

Rosado-Martinez was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Norwich Superior Court.

The men are lucky to have made it this far. I don't know if they can win against Florida again.
No matter how the men do, we can count on the women to bring home a national title.
The men have the momentum to win and the drive to prove themselves after not being able to compete last year.
