Realtors announce service award honoree

The Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors bestowed its 2011 Community Service Award upon Richard Loomis of Loomis Real Estate in Putnam during its inaugural banquet earlier this month at Wright's Mill Farm in Canterbury.

The award honors an association member who does significant work in the community for the benefit of charities, organizations and individuals.

The award is sponsored by the Realtors association's Affiliate Committee. In honor of Loomis receiving the annual award, the Realtors association will donate $500 to NOW, a sports-nutrition program.

The Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors is located in North Franklin.
