Norwich – The Fireworks Festival Committee is seeking nominations for the Ron Aliano Service to Norwich Award, given annually to a person who has given distinguished service in the development of the city of Norwich.

The Service Award will be presented at the June 5 annual fireworks fundraiser silent auction at the Marina at American Wharf.

The committee reviewing the nominations to include the mayor, a City Council member, the chairman of the fireworks committee, one other member of the fireworks committee, and representatives from the Harbor Management Commission, Norwich Community Development Corp.
