F.R.E.S.H. New London to hold plant sale

New London — F.R.E.S.H. New London will host an early-season plant sale, community garden cleanup and workday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the community gardens at the corner of Williams and Mercer streets.

Cool season garden plants will be available for sale. Volunteer teens from New London will work on a training and service learning project, and beds will be built for the new Jennings Elementary School garden.
