UConn men will play Duke at East Rutherford

National champion UConn continues to beef up its men's basketball non-conference schedule for the 2014-15 season.

The latest addition is a game against Duke in December at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. The game is in the process of being finalized, according to ESPN.

It will be the first meeting between the two elite college basketball programs since Nov. 27, 2009, when the Blue Devils posted a 68-59 win in the NIT Season Tip-off Championship at Madison Square Garden. The Huskies have won four of the last five meetings and trail the overall series, 5-4.

UConn will host Texas on Nov. 30 and visit Florida and Stanford. The Huskies also will play in the Puerto Rico Tip-off, which runs from Nov. 20-23. The field includes Dayton, Boston College, West Virginia, George Mason, New Mexico, Texas A&M and College of Charleston.

The Huskies went 32-8 overall last season, beating Kentucky, 60-54, on April 7 in Arlington, Texas, to win the program's fourth national championship.
