The Office of Chief Medical Examiner said Friday that the three men who died early Thursday morning in a single-car accident on Route 82 in Bozrah all died from traumatic blunt injuries and ruled their deaths an accident.

The medical examiner said Kenneth Barki, 23, of 12 Prentice St., Taftville, died as a result of blunt trauma to the head, torso and extremities. Jessie Robinson, 22, of 3 Jerome Road, died of blunt impact injury to the head, neck, torso and extremities and Terence Garland, 19, of 11 Russell Road, Norwich, died of blunt impact injury to the head, torso and extremities.

Police said the three were killed when the car they were in veered off the road, split in half after striking a tree and careered into the woods.
