Join the Ivoryton Players

The Ivoryton Playhouse presents a new program, The Ivoryton Players, starting Monday, July 18. Participants will learn about professional theater while preparing and rehearsing for a staged reading with the performance on Dec. 9 on the Ivoryton Playhouse stage. All levels of experience (including none) are welcome. Backstage positions are also available.

The group will perform a comedy under the direction of Joyce Beauvais (right). The first meeting, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. (flexible, according to members' needs), will include a welcome packet, an overview of the club and improvisation exercises. The group will meet every Monday up until the show at the Playhouse Rehearsal Studio, 24 Main St., Centerbrook.
