On Sat. April 12, the annual Robert Marston Easter Egg Hunt once again fills Sampson Field (near Foote Park) on Melrose Avenue beginning at 11 a.m. 

Sponsored by Branford’s American Legion Corcoran Sundquist Post #83, the program is free with no registration needed.  Hunters will be separated into age groups (4 and under; 5 to 6; 7 to 8 and 9 to 10). Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the hunt.  Rain date: April 19.

Parks and Recreation Director Alex Palluzzi Jr. and his staff wish to sincerely thank the Branford American Legion for all its years of wonderful effort and enthusiasm. Post #83 has been an integral, supportive part of the Branford Recreation Department for over 50 years; offering and involving themselves in a variety of community programs. In doing so, Post #83 has created opportunities for residents, encouraging all to see the benefits of Branford’s beautiful community.
