Montville singer Alexis Buck gets gig at Comix

Not only does Montville native Alexis Buck have a great summer job performing her own music, but she's also guaranteed to learn how to efficiently shut down any potential hecklers in the future. Starting tonight, Buck, 21 and a business major at Salve Regina, will be the opening act each weekend for comedians at the Comix nightclub in the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The room books national headliners as well as top regional talent, and Buck should easily learn how to handle potentially rowdy crowds - although hopefully her song and performances will preclude any of those situations. Buck's Friday, Saturday and Sunday happy hour sets will run from 6 to 7 p.m. Visit comixatfoxwoods.com.
