    Groton voter registration for Republican primary

    Groton – To give new voters the chance to register for the Republican primary on Aug. 12, the town Republican registrar will hold voter registration from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on July 29 at the Registrar of Voters office in the Groton Human Services Building, 2 Fort Hill Road, Groton.

    The cut-off date for new registrations for the primary is August 11.

    New voter registration cards must be postmarked by August 5, or brought to the office in person by noon on August 11.
