    Struggling Sun visit Atlanta tonight

There are a few things the struggling Connecticut Sun could do without right now.

One is another road trip as Connecticut is tied with Tulsa for the WNBA's worst road record (3-10).

Another is a game at Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta, today's opponent at Philips Arena (noon, CPTV Sports).

Lastly, the Dream (15-9) should be in a foul mood having lost four straight games.

The Sun also play visit San Antonio (Friday) and Los Angeles (Sunday) as part of the road trip.

Connecticut (10-16) has been in a freefall this month. The Sun have lost 10 of their last 12 games and dropped from second place to last.

They have eight games left in the regular season and don't want to miss the postseason for a second straight year. They're one game behind fourth-place New York (the top four teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs).

All-Stars Angel McCoughtry (19.3 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 4.3 apg) and Erika de Souza (13.8 ppg, 9.3 rpg) lead the Dream while rookie forward Chiney Ogwumike continues to lead the Sun in scoring (15.2) and rebounding (8.4).
