The Military Affairs Council that links active duty military leaders and local businesses together will hold a meeting on Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Inc. in Waterford.

The council plans the annual Military Appreciation Breakfast each fall and other events that connect businesses to military service people. To attend a meeting or join the council contact Ashlee Donovan at adonovan@chamberECT.com.

The council is also seeking nominations for its annual Military Community Support Award that recognizes a chamber member business for its contributions to the military community.
