Mohegan — A Brooklyn, N.Y. man who drives a bus from Massachusetts to the Mohegan Sun casino was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing a wallet.

Zhi Hong Pang, 52, was charged by Mohegan Tribal police with third-degree larceny.

Police said Pang stole a wallet off the counter at the Player’s Development Desk in the Earth Casino. The wallet contained $3,100. Police said Pang took the money out of the wallet and put it in his wallet. He then hid the stolen wallet in a compartment near the driver’s seat on the bus. The name of the bus company was not available.

Police said the money and wallet were recovered.

Pang was released on a $500 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Aug. 14.
