Concert raises funds for Mystic Arts Center

Art is a noble pursuit - well, not so much you, Dia: Beacon and your gallery of goofballs! Otherwise, though, it's incumbent on the citizenry to help subsidize artiness every now and then.

That's why, tonight at North Stonington's Jonathan Edwards Winery, you are encouraged to attend a benefit concert for the Mystic Arts Center. Josi Davis and Hot Damn! - only a few hours after appearing on The Day's "Live Lunch Break" series - will entertain with an infectious and versatile playlist.

The Winery is an excellent venue and the summer weather's been ideal. Prepare to have a bit of the grape and unabashedly dance - all for a good cause. And, yes, all proceeds benefit the Mystic Arts Center.
