Uproar tour busts loose at Mohegan Sun
Skillet is a Christian rock band from Tennessee. Boston's Godsmack is led by an actual witch - Sully Erna - whose best song is called "Voodoo" and is about, well, voodoo. Pop Evil enjoy a vaguely Satan-worshippy name but are actually religious zealots of another kind: they all are rabidly crazy over the University of Michigan football team.
One wonders, then: since all these acts are touring as part of Rockstar Energy Drink's Uproar tour, will they be able to exist together in spiritual peace?
No worries. All pray and tithe at the altar of rock 'n' roll. That should provide plenty of positive vibes with the loud music when, on Wednesday, Uproar arrives at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Also on the bill are Tattered, and These Raven Skies.
