Romagnolo - Anusewicz

James and Cynthia Romagnolo of Ledyard are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh, to Joshua Michael Anusewicz, son of Joseph Anusewicz of Pembroke, Mass., and Cheryl Quaglia Anusewicz of Marshfield, Mass.

The couple met at Quinnipiac University, where Shannon earned her bachelor's degree in English and master's degree in secondary education. Joshua received his bachelor's degree in journalism.

Shannon is currently a high school English teacher in Hamden. Joshua works in the college relations office at Connecticut College.

The couple resides in Chester.

A wedding is planned for October 2015 in West Harford.
