It's been an almost stunningly beautiful summer - moderate temperatures, plenty of blue skies, and very little of Satan's most loathsome meteorological foil: humidity.

And yet, some folks are complaining it's not HOT enough.

For those citizens - as well as for summer-fun-lovers everywhere - please keep in mind that, on Saturday, the Downtown New London Association presents the 4th Annual Carribean Night in Waterfront Park. As such, put on your tropical shirt and prepare to partake of the festivities.

Along with indigenous food and dancing, anticipate hours of completely infectious music - Bachata, salsa, merengue and more - from headliner D'Angel. Long live summer!
