Every time I read something about the Amistad I can't help but think Greg Belanger and his cook out smarted the state. Is it not just amazing what these poor senators have had to do to stop the state from just handing out money, direct deposit - and it took so long! We should be looking at the trail of people who handed the money out without the proper documentation. Who are these people and what do they really do?

What was the process? Is there any accountability? They have all probably moved on, received bonuses and have been promoted while Greg Belanger and the cook are living the dream.
