Maria Carroll of Stonington and John Manzella of Pawcatuck are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kayleigh Manzella, to Luke Conrad, son of Bruce and Christy Conrad of Southlake, Texas.

The wedding and reception took place on April 12, 2014, in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Given in marriage by her father, John Manzella, the bride was attended by Kimberly Theadore, maid of honor and Katherine Vinson, matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Alyssa Conrad, Kristen Conrad, Zoe Conrad, and the junior bridesmaid was Leah

Carroll.

On the groom's side stood Michael Conrad, best man, and groomsmen David Sacks, Daniel Papazian, Andrew Anderson, David Bor, and Jeffrey Brown. Guests were ushered by Lawrence Walsh and Zachary Conrad, brothers of the bride and groom. The flower girl was Reagan Conrad, the groom's niece, and a special reading was done by Caelynn Carroll, sister of the bride. The couple was wed by Luke's close childhood friend, Aaron Sacks.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Stonington High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education and English from Springfield College in 2007, and a master's degree in elementary education from Sacred Heart University in 2008. She currently is a Stem Coach at O'Brien Stem Academy in East Hartford.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Grafton High School in Massachusetts. He received a bachelor's degree in economics and history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2004, and a law degree from the New England School of Law in Boston, in 2007. He is currently employed as a construction and public contracts attorney at Hinckley Allen in Hartford.

The couple honeymooned in Maroma, Mexico, and resides in Avon, with their dog, Kona.
