ZZ Top cancels, but show goes on at Foxwoods

ZZ Top has cancelled their Sunday concert in the Grand Theater at Foxwoods, but co-headliner Jeff Beck will still perform.

According to USA Today, Top bassist Dusty Hill injured his hip on the band's tour bus and dates through Sept. 13 have been scrapped.

Guitarist Tyler Bryant, who appeared with Beck, Carlos Santana and Slash in the film "Rock Prophecies," will now open Sunday's show.

The ticket price for the Beck/Bryant show has been reduced to $50.

In a press release, Foxwoods announced that it's not necessary to contact the ticket office for ZZ Top refunds; ticket holders should have received full refund credit by Thursday. Ticket holders who still want to attend the concert can apply credit for Beck tickets by calling 800-200-2882 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Beck tickets also are available at foxwoods.com/jeffbeck.aspx.
