Another rookie, defensive lineman Shamar Stephen, made the Minnesota Vikings. He was a seventh-round mark and considered a longshot when training camp began to make the team.

The other 15 players (all veterans) to make teams were offensive tackle Will Beatty (N.Y. Giants), safety Tyvon Branch and linebacker Sio Moore (Oakland), cornerback Dwayne Gratz and running back Jordan Todman (Jacksonville), running back Donald Brown and defensive tackle Kendall Reyes (San Diego), cornerback Darius Butler (Indianapolis), wide receiver Marcus Easley (Buffalo), tight end Ryan Griffin (Houston), linebacker Danny Lansanah (Tampa Bay), cornerback Robert McClain (Atlanta), quarterback Dan Orlovsky (Detroit), fullback Anthony Sherman (Kansas City) and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (Tennessee).
