Falcons host annual band competition

The Fitch Falcon Marching Band and the Falcon Music Boosters will host their third annual band competition, "Sounds by the Sea," at 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Fitch High School's Dorr Athletic Field.

The bands include Norwich Free Academy Wildcats, Montville High Marching Indians, Putnam High School Clippers, East Lyme High School Marching Vikings, Montville High School Marching Band, Rockville High School Marching Band, New London High School Marching Band, and the Plainfield High School Marching Band.

The Fitch band will conclude the competition with their 2014 field show entitled "Imagine a Dream."

The community is welcome to attend.

Concessions will be available throughout the show. Admission is $10 with proceeds benefiting the Fitch Falcon Marching Band.
