Live Lunch Break Flashback - Hannah Fair

Hannah Fair performs during Thursday's Live Lunch Break segment.

Admit it: you're feeling a little churlish because you missed "Live Lunch Break" on Thursday in New London's Hygienic Art Park. Singer-songwriter Hannah Fair, out of New Haven County and points north, provided a very fine and well-received set of intelligent folk-rock songs - many of which are on her most recent release, an album called "Open Road."

But don't feel cranky if you weren't there. We archive all "Live Lunch Break" episodes on theday.com.

Here are fun things to look for during Fair's set:

    • Fair taught herself guitar and has no idea what any of the chords or keys are that she plays.

    • Fair is preparing for her first national tours, which will run through the fall. The first leg is a co-headlining junket along with her friend, New London's Daphne Lee Martin.

    • Why Fair's approach to fluid prices at her merch table is refreshing an indicative of a pretty wonderful approach to art.
