The Rocky Neck Heart Walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. at Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The American Heart Association encourages companies, families and friends to create a team, register at www.RockyNeckHeartWalk.org and participate in the 3-mile walk. No minimum donation is required.

This is the 25th year of this event in southeastern Connecticut. This year's walk goal is to raise more than $250,000 to support the mission of the American Heart Association by funding research, education and public policy changes.
