an exhibition of works by artist Judy Friday. This show, opening April 19th is the next chapter in the life of a multi-talented artist who fearlessly faces a variety of creative media with consistently great success. FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart University, working in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, will host a symposium to help veterans understand educational benefits, programs and options available to them and their families. The University's first Veterans Benefits Symposium will take place May 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., at University Commons on the University's Fairfield campus. The program is free, and program coordinators hope to attract veterans and their families, students, educators, administrators, teachers and the general public.
The program offers visitors access to campus representatives who can explain undergraduate, graduate and online classes and degree programs.

Contra dancing is easy to learn. Allemande right your corner, balance and swing your partner! A live band for music, playing traditional Irish or French Canadian tunes. Dances are led by a caller, who teaches every dance. You can learn the basic moves in fifteen minutes! It’s a community event – dancers might be from 7-70 years old. Everyone is welcome: singles, couples, families and we are GLBT friendly. Wear cool, comfortable clothing and shoes. Contra dancing is informal!
