Comic genius Louis C.K. does two shows at Foxwoods

    Louis C.K.

Louis C.K. is one of those artists who's so prolific that it takes the world of technology just to try to keep up with him.

    Or so it seems.

Whether as a standup comic arena headliner, a voice actor, a writer for other comics, a screenwriter and director, star of such television shows like "Louie," "Baskets" and "Horace and Pete," or crafting in-development projects with folks like Albert Brooks or Pamela Adlon, the darkly brilliant C.K. utilizes any and all of the creative outlets afforded by multi-media platforms throughout the solar system.

At the moment, he's focusing on an extended standup tour that brings him for shows Wednesday and May 26 in the Grand Theater at Foxwoods.

Prepare to absorb a hilarious and twisted — but disturbingly realistic — worldview.

    Louis C.K., 8 p.m. Wednesday and May 26, Foxwoods' Grand Theater; $50; 1-800-200-2882.
