New London seniors Jada Lucas and India Pagan of New London were among the 32 players named to the Connecticut High School Coaches Association All-State girls’ basketball teams.

Lucas and Pagan were both named to the Class LL team after helping the Whalers win both the CIAC Class LL championship and the Eastern Connecticut Conference Division I regular season and tournament titles this season. New London also finished number one in the GameTimeCT/New Haven Register Top 10 poll, a first for the program. The duo were also cornerstones to the 2014 Class M championship team, the first in program history to win a state title.

Norwich Free Academy senior Hailey Conley was also named to the LL team. Mia Brennan of Waterford and Caitlyn Dittman of St. Bernard were selected to the Class M team.

Waterford senior Mikey Buscetto (Class M), Ledyard senior Steven Fletcher (Class L), and East Lyme sophomore Dev Ostrowski (Class L) were all first team selections on the CHSCA All-State boys’ basketball teams. New London senior D. Major Roman was a Class L second-team pick.
