Does Trump understand how to compromise?

I wish to raise reasonable questions relating to President Trump and the southern border “wall.”

After two years of constant disappointment as we all try to understand this man, I ask … does he have any leadership qualities at all? Does he have any clear understanding of what it means to compromise? Think about it. I say no. He does not understand the difference between “compromise” and “ultimatum.”

If he was prepared to compromise there would be feasibility studies and sensible cost analysis, environmental impact studies and public hearings for likely use of eminent domain. There would be a willingness to talk about all these matters as well as an effort to arrive at a fair settlement.

Donald Trump, however, obviously thinks that if he gives an ultimatum, he is negotiating. Then he behaves badly, blaming others, and refuses to carry out anything that resembles a productive talk. He threatens drastic action.

On top of all the other heartless lies, manipulated facts, flip flops and degrading behaviors, he now has acted clearly like an immature adolescent, never to be trusted again. I ask again, does he have any leadership qualities at all?
