Norwich — Area firefighters gathered for the 25th annual Diocesan Mass for Firefighters and EMS personnel Saturday at the Cathedral of St. Patrick.
The Most Rev. Michael R. Cote, Bishop of the Diocese of Norwich, was the celebrant. The Homilist was the Rev. Robert Marciano, pastor of Saint Kevin Parish in Warwick, R.I.
Firefighters gathered at Chelsea Parade in Norwich for a procession down Broadway to the cathedral.
