Saint Bernard School names November students of the month
Junior Shania Riviere of New London and seventh-grader Kate Sluggett of Ledyard were named November students of the month at Saint Bernard School.
Riviere was recognized as an “unsung hero” who plays softball and participates in the school’s drama productions. She is a member of the Silver Cross Society, Yearbook Club and Spanish Honor Society.
Sluggett, who lives in Ledyard, was described as conscientious and is often found studying in the library. She plays lacrosse and basketball and serves as a Student Ambassador and member of Student Council.
