Broken water pipe closes two Old Lyme schools, Town Hall
Old Lyme — Several town buildings will be closed Thursday due to a water pipe break Wednesday.
The broken pipe has left Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School, Center School and Town Hall without water, according to a release. The buildings will be closed Thursday as the pipe is repaired.
Middle school students will report to the high school for classes Thursday, and middle school staff will provide class locations once students arrive. Middle school parent conferences scheduled for Thursday also will be held at the high school. Due to limited parking at the high school, parents should park at the middle school for conferences or student drop-offs and pickups.
Prekindergarten classes are canceled Thursday due to the closure of Center School, which also houses the Region 18 school district central office.
